The wheelchair basketball club was originally set up and run by Pent valley school during break times, it was then run on a Sunday morning for a few months.

In April 2007 a committee was formed by a number of the players and parents so that the club could continue running. It was then named the Valley Vipers.

Since then we have managed to raise or secure funding to buy our own wheelchairs, kit, balls and a number of other items.

The club continues to go from strength to strength, although we have seen players come and go we do have a hardcore of players who have been with us from the start, we have also seen some of our players go on to play in the league for other teams.

We are a non league team and plan to stay that way so that  we exclude no-one regardless of age or ability. Our main aim is for our players to learn the rules of the game and have fun and enjoy themselves along the way and hopefully make some good friendships.

Everyone is welcome and we always look forward to meeting new players.
